Juicing for your kids!

Theres no juice on the market that is without added sugars, high fructose corn syrup and many other added preservatives. What better way to make sure your kids are getting the most nutrition out of there fruits and vegetables than juicing. They can get there full daily allowance of fruits and veggies without the pouty faces, you know what I'm talking about. There is no harder deed than getting your child to eat his broccoli or spinach. Well you can juice these veggies along with an apple and they will not notice there sipping spinach. It can be a fun experience going to the farmers market and letting them pick out there own concoction of veggies and fruits they would like juiced. They can help peel oranges, take the pits out of apples and it becomes and event. You can take left over carrot shreds and use them in carrot cake, over a salad or in a meatloaf. You can also take left over orange peels and put them in a spray bottle with water and you have a natural air cleaner. You can even let the kids run around and spray the house knowing there's no chemicals just good old fashion oranges. I think investing in a juicer is one of the best things you can do for your children. Another idea is adding there vitamin supplements in a dropper and adding it to there juice. You can also add flax seed oil which contains Omega 3 Fatty Acids which support brain development and eye development. It's good for there skin, nervous system, and little hearts. Juicers are not that expensive, you can get a good one for $100.00. One I like is the Jack la lannes Power Juicer. I have on at home and I juice oranges and carrot every morning for my 14 month old. It's safe to juice for babies 9 months and up. Just introduce one vegetable or fruit at a time to juice for 3 days and if they develop and allergy you know the culprit. Most veggies and fruits do not cause allergies. The main ones I would be careful with are strawberries and blueberries. Are kids are our future why not give them a great nutritional start. Just food for thought.
